Since March 2021, we’ve fallen in love with the art of tufting, a versatile textile technique that we started using to create custom-made rugs. Over time, our work has evolved into full collections inspired by nature, including rugs, cushions, and upholstered stools.
We also craft artistic pieces like wall hangings and textile murals, always using the tufting technique.
At Marso Studio, we host tufting workshops in Vienna. Hands-on, creative experiences where you can design and make your own rug from scratch while learning all about tufting. It’s a chance to express yourself, relax, and pick up a new skill.

Wie bist du zu deinem Thema oder deiner Tätigkeit gekommen?
Marso Studio is us, Martin and Sofia. We’re originally from Guatemala, but we’re currently based in Vienna, Austria. We created this space as a creative hub where we explore different processes and materials to design unique accessories. We are both industrial designers with a lot of creativity!
