Pottery Wheel Beginners Workshop

Over three days, you will dive into the complete ceramic process, transforming raw clay into finished pieces. Day 1 is all about the wheel, where you’ll learn to wedge, center, and shape everything from classic cylinders to bowls and cups. Day 2 focuses on "cleaning up" your work, where you will trim away excess clay to define the final shapes, learn how to trim the base and create different styles of feet, and add handles or decorative details. After a two-week break for drying and the first firing, we return for Day 3 to explore color and surface decoration using underglazes and final transparent glaze to bring your pieces to life.
