This autumn they bring their most ambitious tour yet to Vienna, joined by Amsterdam-based saxophonist John Dikeman: a ferocious improviser in the Brötzmann tradition, and a natural fit. Their latest album Everything Was as It Had Been a Minute Ago (PMGJazz / Inverted Spectrum Records) landed on multiple best-of lists. A new trio recording made in Portugal is forthcoming. HOTHOUSE Prague five-piece Hothouse build post-punk from the inside out — fragmented, expansive instrumentals that frame vocals of genuine emotional urgency. Their debut album Finally, We Are Well, Stable (Kabinet Records) established them as one of the more compelling new voices in the Czech underground. A sophomore record is in the works.
