Feldenkrais For Kids
Supporting children to overcome challenges
Sophie Dingemans and Malcolm Manning are two Feldenkrais practitioners now based in Vienna, who specialise in working with babies, children and teenagers with a wide range of needs.
Our work is founded on principles of neuroplasticity – the brain’s ability to change itself – and our intention is to support your child to become as physically, emotionally and psychologically independent as possible.
We have helped children with: cerebral palsy - spasticity - brain injury - stroke - autism - genetic disorders - epilepsy - apraxia - down syndrome - congenital brain defects - brachial plexus injury - scoliosis - undiagnosed developmental delays and difficulties - perception difficulties - muscular dystrophy - attention deficit disorder - anxiety problems - recovery from accidents or surgery - learning difficulties - behavioural difficulties
We work primarily in English, but can also offer German (Malcolm) and French (Sophie).
We also work with big children ... adults!
Wie bist du zu deinem Thema oder deiner Tätigkeit gekommen?
Besides being Feldenkrais practitioners, we have additional certification in the Advanced Training for Feldenkrais Practitioners with Theory and Techniques from Anat Baniel Method (sm) for Children taught by Nancy Aberle.
We each also bring expertise from many associated disciplines. Together as a team we share our insights to offer your child much more than a single practitioner working alone.
