Open Yoga in Augarten

Summer is here again and so are my open yoga classes in Augarten! 🌞🧘‍♀️🌳 The classes are going to take place every Monday starting from June the 8th from 17:45 to 19. Please come at least 10 minutes earlier (ideally at 17:30) at the meeting point, which is the first gate in Wasnergasse (google maps: Wasnergasse 3, 1200) so that I can lead you to a comfortable and quiet spot in the green! 💚 Bring your own yoga mat, comfortable clothes, water and any further prop you might need (blocks, pillow..) The lessons are "pay as you can", so please bring cash and leave an offer! The classes are accessible to every level, from beginners to long time practitioners, in the style of traditional Hatha Yoga: slightly longer poses with a focus on alignment, proprioception, muscle control and relaxation, conscious breathing, mindfullness and meditation. If you are looking for a workout, this is not for you! Also, if you are looking for a "spiritual" experience with chantings and "namastè": this is not for you either! 😄 In my class we practice asanas (yoga poses) to enjoy the well-known physical and mental benefits of yoga, acknowledging the origins of this practice without transforming it into something it is not meant to be, sticking to an evidence-based approach and staying away from cultural appropriation.
