A grounded, embodied approach to Tango Argentino for beginners building foundations and improvers seeking clarity, depth, and freedom. Jessica's Tango Argentino Basics are an invitation to start your tango journey with solid foundations, clarity, and trust in your process. And to gain more depth and freedom if you already dance. Join to explore and train the essentials of Tango Argentino from a mindful, embodied approach. Focusing not only on what to do, but on how and why we move the way we do in this dance. The Tango Basics lessons are ideal for you if: * You’re a complete beginner in Tango Argentino. * You’re returning to tango and want to rebuild the foundations of your dance. * You’re looking for a thoughtful, body-aware approach to Tango Argentino within a friendly community. * You appreciate a safe space for questions, mistakes, and exploration. You’ll learn: * Fundamental posture and body organization * Tango walking, connection, and navigation on the dance floor * How to move with another person comfortably and clearly * The foundations needed to start social dancing, and building confidence in your movement No previous experience required, just curiosity to work with essential principles that allow you to understand the Tango Argentino language sooner, and adapt easier to real social dance situations. If you already have experience, revisiting the basics helps you to: * Focus on elements you might have overlooked when learning everything for the first time * Refine technique and efficiency of your movements * Clarify concepts you may already “know” but not fully embody yet * Expand improvisation, musicality, and partner dialogue You can join with or without a dance partner, and learn the role(s) of your choice. Jessica encourages learning both. These classes take place every Sunday (except during our Tango Immersion Weekends) at Breitenseer Straße, 6, Wien, 1140 – EWTO Akademie. After each class there's a Focused Práctica Training Space for all levels. Tango Basics 19:00-20:00 Focused Práctica 20:00-22:00 April 12., 26. May 3., 10., 24. June 7., 14., 28. July 5., 12., 26. Drop-in welcome. Recommended to save your spot at https://www.jessicagerdel.com/tangobasics/ FAQ What’s the difference between this and Jessica's Wednesday Tango Basics Course? These Sunday sessions aren’t a “beginner class” in the traditional sense. They are a mixed-level learning and training space where beginners build solid foundations from scratch and experienced dancers refine their basics. Each class adapts to the group and uses layered exercises, so that everyone can progress from where they are. After the class, our Focused Práctica takes place and supports you to integrate what you learn. On Wednesdays, you’ll follow a structured sequence of contents, developing the Tango essentials week by week together at a shared group pace. Check out on the Website what they have in common: https://www.jessicagerdel.com/tangobasics/ Does it make sense to attend both? Absolutely. Tango is like learning a language: the more hours you dedicate to study, the faster you become fluent. The Tango Learning Pass supports you for this goal: https://www.jessicagerdel.com/tango-learning-pass/ Learn more at jessicagerdel.com and follow us on IG/FB: abrazatango
